Welcome back to our Hustle + Charm Blog! We would like to reintroduce ourselves, share how we have made changes to keep up with the abnormal year, and how you can benefit from our future planned events. See how through the thick of this past year, we leaned in, to support one another within this community.
I chose to get into Personal Branding years ago honestly because I was obsessed with photo shoots, picking out the looks and having everything come together in a website. I loved how confident business owners were when their image was seamless. As a business owner myself, the first thing I did after registering my life coaching business was planning my photo shoot. I hired a photographer, stylist and makeup artist. The experience was so amazing and really stretched me.
As a community, we love to shine the spotlight on amazing lady bosses. Which is why we’d like to introduce you to our first blog post feature: Margaux Kitsch of whatMwore. Margaux is a personal shopper, personal stylist, and wardrobe consultant who has created a unique, inclusive brand in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This week we had the pleasure of interviewing Margaux about her entrepreneurial journey, the story behind her business, and her pro tips for creating your own boss babe style!
The holiday season is in full swing and with that comes the craziest, busiest, most expensive time of the year. It is so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, but immediately after the holidays is the start of a new year. If 2019 is going to be your year (it is, we can feel it!) then you need to have your shit together so you can crush all the goals and do all the things boss babe style. Making sure you have a plan for your business during and after the holidays will ensure that you’ll have time to enjoy the season, and not run around frantically like one of Santa’s elves on Christmas Eve. This week we are sharing some tips and tricks to help you prepare your biz for the holidays.
2018 is coming to an end, and it has been a wild ride! This year was filled with ups and downs, curveballs and home runs, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. With the closing out of this year fast approaching, it’s important to set ourselves up to be successful in the year to come. This week’s blog post will give you a few tips on how to reflect on and be grateful for everything that you’ve experienced this year, while also hyping up to CRUSH your goals in 2019.
As female entrepreneurs, we have a lot of pressure on our shoulders. Many of us feel like we have to live up to high expectations, ones that are set by others and by ourselves. As much as we love putting on our boss babe hat and hustling for our brand, behind each of our brands is a unique person. This week on the blog we are getting real, like really real, and discussing the in’s and out’s of vulnerability in business.
You know that never-ending to-do list that seems to get bigger by the day? We have one too, and this week we are going to talk about how to increase your productivity so you can start checking things off your list and crushing your business goals like the awesome lady boss you are!
Building new friendships can also be hard as a solo entrepreneur, especially if you work from home. You don’t have the type of job where you go to the office every day and mix and mingle with co-workers near your desk or in the break room. You have to make the extra effort of leaving your home office and seeking people to interact with.
Become part of a community of Winnipeg women who are as passionate about the businesses they’re building as they are about building genuine relationships with one another. We have the tools and motivation you need to keep pushing towards your business goals and to support your personal development.
We’re entrepreneurs. We’re learners. We’re friends.
